I think one of the biggest mistakes we make in life is discounting/ignoring individuals who we believe can do nothing for us. A huge mistake.
We don’t know who an individual knows.
We don’t know what type of reach an individual has.
Maybe that individual can’t do anything for you today.
But what about next year?
Heck, what about next week?
Next week you might need something only that individual can provide.
Would they accommodate you?
Just because an individual hasn’t shown us their full hand doesn’t mean they don’t have a royal flush.
Two things are certain:
*People will forget a whole lot, but never how you made them feel.
*The way you treat others is an irrefutable reflection of your character.
My advice: Treat the janitor with the same respect you would the individual in the office with the amazing view.
