If you are a writer, you have most likely been asked the following question: “Are you a plotter or a pantser?”
I’m not sure how anyone else answers, but my response is always, “I’m a plotting-pantser.”
Say, whatcha say, now?
Well, let me explain. I label myself a plotting-pantser because that’s exactly what I am. I start off with a very meticulously thought-out plan of approach to my novel, only to realize by the third chapter that I’ve strayed so far from the outline that it is now useless. At that point, I just wing it in a sheer flight of faith.
Being a plotting-pantser works for me. My method of madness seems to always come together in a way that totally satisfies me. And first and foremost, my writing has to satisfy me before I present it to you, my readers. Because my goal is—and always will be—to produce a story that is both entertaining and as good as—or better than—the last.
Now you know just a little more about me!
I love hearing from readers. Leave me a comment, drop me a line or two in an email, hit me up on Facebook or Twitter.
Until next time, HAPPY READING!
