HUD Cover 2

Their kiss—primal and hard—caused her lips to grow tender. The delicious pain only made her want more. Her gluttonous desire didn’t wane when Kincaid pulled away. “No, no, no. Don’t stop,” she said in a huffed breath, her hungry mouth chasing his.

“The things I want to do to you.” He shook his head slowly. “I want to make love to you all night. I want to kiss you all day. I want to hold you so close that our hearts beat in harmony. I want to make you scream my name until you’re hoarse, make you come harder than you ever imagined you could.” He kissed the tip of her nose. “But before I do any of those things, I want to touch you. Touch you in a way the bastard before me never could.”

His words electrified her entire body. The idea of his strong hands exploring her caused a warm sensation to course through her. “Touching is good.” When she dipped forward to kiss him again, he placed an index finger over her lips, slid it away slowly, then pecked her gently. His sensual way had her so sexually charged that she was sure her panties were soaking wet.

“I want to touch you in a way that when a warm breeze kisses your cheek…” he brushed a bent finger along the side of her face, “…you think of me.” He glided his thumb over her ear. “I want to touch you in a way that when the wind blows, you hear my voice whispering ‘I love you’ in your ear.”

Marisol’s breathing grew clumsy. Kincaid’s words were beautiful, poetic. They aroused her far more than she imagined words ever could. Her skin prickled from the sensation of his fingers crawling along her arm.

“I want to touch you at night.” He kissed her forehead. “I want to touch you during the day.” He kissed her brow. “I want to touch you seven days a week.” He kissed her jaw line. “And when I touch you…” he positioned his mouth inches from hers, “…it’s going to drive you absolutely insane.”

He captured Marisol’s mouth and kissed her like his life recharged with each stroke of his tongue against hers. The kiss was potent, deliberate; it was delicious, satisfying. Her entire body blossomed like one of Vaden’s flowers.

When Kincaid pulled away, Marisol panted like she’d just run a marathon. His breath was just as unsteady as hers. She swallowed hard, recalling his very arousing claims. “W—” She cleared her throat. “Where are you planning to touch me that will achieve all of that?” she asked.

Kincaid’s lips curled into a smile. He dragged a finger over her chin, down the column of her neck, and over her collarbone. Resting a flat hand over her breast, he said, “Your heart.”
